There is a paved path which goes back towards Pinedale (about 1.5 miles to the trailhead on Riverside drive). There is a dirt path that starts by the restrooms and goes around the ponds (about 0.8 miles). Beautiful area and easy riding.
From Pinedale take Fremont Lake Road approximately 4 miles, turn left on the road to Fremont Lake, stay left at the fork continue past Lakeside lodge about 1/2 mile until you see the sign for the CCC ponds turn left.
